An Interview with Caroline Pierce

• Hello Caroline, it's a pleasure to have you talk to us. Could you tell us a little about your background? Are you originally from the west coast or did your work take you there?
I have always lived on the West coast. A Las Vegan through and through.
A little about my background; well, I have spent most of my adult life involved in the adult entertainment industry, whether it is stripping, men's magazine modeling, or doing naughty things on film.
• For anyone who has not had the delight of experiencing Slaughter Disc yet, can you tell us about Andromeda Strange?
Andromeda Strange ... the director of Slaughter Disc, David Quitmeyer, can better explain her back story than I can. I jokingly explain her as being a rather happy girl who just plays with other people in strange ways. Well, maybe I am only half joking, as that is not too inaccurate a description of her. Andromeda is just a little heavy handed with the either sharp or blunt object she plays with. :)

• Apart from the adult films, have you done any other acting?
Kind of. I did a few local plays a while ago. Done a few indie films that will probably never see the light of day (or at least they haven't so far.) That's about it. Know anyone that wants to hire a mediocre actress? :)
• Myself and many others have commented on your impressive performance in Slaughter Disc, I think many have been surprised that a star of adult films can actually act. Are you pleased with your performance?
It could've been so much better, but everyone critiques themselves. I am glad other people think it turned out well, and it is their opinion that matters! Phew! I am very glad that you all don't think I am absolutely lousy in the role of Andromeda!
• Apart from your obvious physical charms, you have a very expressive voice. I believe that you're currently pursuing a career as a voice actor. Can you tell us about that?
It has been a dream of mine my whole life. I am determined to voice at least one animated character in my life!!! I was pleased to discover that you don't need to have an amazing sounding voice, you just need to know how to use it. I have been studying for over a year, and will continue learning
how to use my voice. And the nice thing is, I don't need to be trim and fit or wear any make-up to do voice acting! Yay! Don't have to worry about getting older!

• Did you have any say in Andromeda Strange's wardrobe and make-up?
Andromeda's wardrobe consists of a lot of my own personal items, but quite a few things (like that great purple cape) were purchased specifically for the character. The gorgeous Madam Le Goth dress I wear in the credits is Andromeda's, not mine *sigh*. David knew what he wanted her to look like and wear, it just so happened that I own a lot of that type of wardrobe.
• Have you had any unusual requests from fans?
From fans of this movie? No, we haven't gotten there yet. In general, oh sure. But I have been involved in adult oriented work for a while. Most of the strange requests come when I am dancing at a strip club. Or sometimes when I am working a convention. I usually take it all in stride, although I am sure I have been caught off guard once or twice. Sadly, no examples come to mind.
• The skull-crushing aside, is there any Andromeda in Caroline Pierce or vice versa?
Well, I am inclined to play a little rough and heavy handed, and don't mind making people bleed a little :).
Andromeda does that too, just more often than I do, and a lot more extreme! Andromeda is a sexpot tease type, and I like to have an excuse to pretend I am a sexpot tease. :)

• Can we look forward to more adventures from Andromeda Strange?
Both Andromeda and I certainly hope so! Steel Web Studios are planning on doing more with Andromeda.
• What are your plans for the future? Do you have any ambitions/passions outside the film business?
Well, obviously from my pursuing the voice acting career, I want to remain in entertainment. I have that irritating artistic temperament like that.
Um, unrealistically I would love to become independently wealthy and travel the world taking dance classes where ever I go. Realistically, I am going to start in on my Japanese language skills again (I am self taught, so I need to fill in some major holes). Not sure what I will do with the Japanese, but it will certainly please me to no end! (I am a big fan of everything Japanese)
• Thank you very much for taking the time to talk to us Caroline, and may I wish you much luck and happiness for the future.
It was my pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to ask the questions!
